GMMD409: Beat Assignment

Hoping I'm doing this right since I don't have many guidelines. Wasn't sure what I needed, but figured I'd give it a shot anyway.

Air Conditioning Engineering Technology is an Associates of Applied Science degree program at SUNY Canton. Due to high energy costs, all students in this major have accepted employment within one month of graduation. This major prepares students for career opportunities as service technicians, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) contractors and sales, controls specialists and designers.

Students learn the current and predicted future trends of the industry in preparation of entry to a related baccalaureate program at SUNY Canton or other college.

They will have the opportunity to study under HVAC engineers, work in the field during the summer, and shadow employers in the field during the semester. They also gain membership to the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers), and participate in community service projects.

Recent graduates of the Air Conditioning Engineering Technology program have found work in companies such as Galson Engineering, Prax Air. Inch, NEPCO, GEMMA Power Systems, and Central New York Trane.
